Thanks, but I found a much simpler workaround. Select your Local Adjustment Brush. Put all 6 basic (Exposure till Blacks) sliders to the right end, the next 3 sliders to the left as well as saturation. Make sure you select a Brush size of around 8 px. Put feather to 0 and Flow and Density to 100. Make sure you turn Auto mask off. Draw a line on each side of the image, stay a bit off the page so it will stay straight. Et Voila 🙂

Thank you for the video. It works. I'm able to add the identity plate to the print out as well. I have been searching for the solution for a while. One print template can easily print all other photos too. Your video made my date. Thank you.

Can I print a very small identity plate on a thin border? Use margins all the time, 5 mm for my 4×6 formats. Can I print an identity plate in the "non printable area" (i.e the area that is grey, not white)?

Hey ! Thank you for the tutorial. I was wondering. I'm looking to add two borders to my photos. One larger white one as kind of a frame and one thin black just on the edge of the photo. How could I do that ? Thanks for your help.

Liked your presentation, gave it a thumb up. Unfortunately, this lesson does not help those of us who use desktop version 6.14 or below. You might want to put that at the beginning of your video in the future. I suspect this is the problem others have noted to you via these comments.

    Hi Phil!
Thank you for the tutorial …. very helpful, indeed. Is there a way to save the border as a setting somehow so I can just apply it when I want to, or do I need to do this for each photo for which I want to use a border?
