Today I Played: ATV Wild Ride 3D
Today I played ATV Wild Ride 3D, a new racing 3DS game from developer Renegade Kid. Renegade Kid is most known on the 3DS scene for creating eShop titles like Mutant Mudds and Bomb Monkey. ATV Wild Ride 3D is a quad racing eShop title with 24 different tracks, 12 different racers, and 12 different ATVs. ATV Wild Ride 3D features a total of six world tours that pretty much make up the story mode of the game. I’m only three world tours in so far and I’ve only been playing for an hour or so. There’s also a multiplayer mode as well that allows you to race against your registered friends or anyone else online. Visually the game is alright, I mean it’s not bad or anything, but it’s not exactly the most beautiful looking game on the system either. Music on the other hand is awesome. It’s very rock centric and reminds me of the music in Tony Hawk for the Nintendo 64. I’m enjoying my time with ATV Wild Ride 3D so far. I’m looking forward to trying out the rest of the tracks and the online multiplayer.
