Super Smash Bros. 4 GVN Dream Team: Luis Alamilla
Hello GVN readers! Today I’d like to share with you a new feature we’ve been working on called the Super Smash Bros. 4 GVN Dream Team. Super Smash Bros. 4 GVN Dream Team is an article that we plan to publish once a week where each week a new GVN staff member shares’s their wish list for three new characters in the next Super Smash Bros. game currently in development for Wii U and 3DS. In no shape or form do these character wish lists have to be believable. It’s wish list not predictions or leaked information/rumors. With that said, to start off week 1 here’s my own wish list of characters for the next Super Smash Bros. game.
Sora is the main character in the Kingdom Hearts series that originated on the Playstation 2 but has gone on to be on other platforms including Nintendo platforms like the Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS. Sora uses his Keyblade to take down multiple enemies like heartless, nobodies, and the unverse. Considering he’s a “sword character” like Link and Ike, Sora would use his keyblade to perform smash attacks and standard attacks. In the Kingdom Hearts series Sora can perform different magic powers like using fire, lighting, ice, wind, and even zero gravity to take down enemies. Considering his diverse range of special abilities, Sora’s special attacks could each be a different magic attack. Sora’s standard special attack could be a quick shield of light similar to Zelda’s special attack. Side specials would shoot a fireball. His down special would freeze nearby opponents, while his up special would shoot a bolt of lightning in the air. For Sora’s Final Smash, he could turn into his nobody, Roxas and use his dual keyblades to take out enemies.
Shadow Mario / Bowser Jr.
I would love to see dual character set of Shadow Mario and Bowser Jr. from Super Mario Sunshine make an appearance in the next Super Smash Bros. game. Just like I mentioned with Sora, both Shadow Mario and Bowser Jr. use a large pain brush which could be considered as a “sword” weapon. In that case I would assume that both of their smash attacks would all revolve around hitting people with the pain brush. As for their standard special attack, each character would shoot paint out of their paint brush. Baby Bowser’s side special would summon Swoopin’ Stus that would attack nearby enemies. His up special would be him jumping into the air while hiding in his shell. Bowser Jr.’s down special would turn him into Shadow Mario or vice versa. Shadow Mario’s side special would be a rush shadow attack in a similar sense to Fox’s side special in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. His up special would be a shadow teleport move in a similar fashion to Sheik’s up special. As for their final smash, Bowser Jr. / Shadow Mario would shoot a large blast of paint, think of a combination of Samus’ and Mario’s final smash.
Mii! We have to have Miis in the next Super Smash Bros. game. They were in Mario Kart Wii and New Super Mario Bros. U. Now I honestly don’t know what his/her move set would be. I guess Nintendo could have their special attacks vary through shirt color or something, I really don’t know. Their smash attacks could all be standard punches/kicks in a similar sense to Mario/Luigi. I really don’t know what their final smash could be but if I honestly had to decide right now, their final smash would be that your entire WaraWara Plaza just runs into the stage and tramples everyone on the stage excluding your self of course.
Those were my top three picks for the next Super Smash Bros. game. If you have any comments on my choices or would like to share your own choices please feel free to do so in the comments below.
