How To Stream Videos From Your Computer To Your Wii U For Free
Reddit user monkeymad2 created a little server program that allows you to stream MP4 videos from your PC or Mac over to your Wii U through its online internet browser. Setting up this server is as easy as 1,2,3.
Step 1. Download the server for Windows or Mac here.
Step 2. Extract the .zip file and install the program.
Step 3. Create a folder or find a location on your computer to save all your Wii U streaming content.
Step 4. Start the server program and select the location of all your Wii U video content.
Step 5. Start the server on your computer (the program may act like it’s frozen but that’s normal)
Step 6. Visit the URL displayed on the server on your Wii U internet browser and enjoy your video content.
Currently only MP4 videos are working but there’s plan to allow for other video formats in the future as the software is still in its beta stage.
