Puddle For Playstation Vita Preview

Puddle For Playstation Vita Preview

Puddle is a new physics based puzzle game for the Playstation Vita. Originally released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, Puddle has you control the camera of the game to change the momentum of a puddle of water. The concept of the game is to move the puddle of water from point A to point B without losing most of your water. The Playstation Vita port features 49 remastered levels and new controls to take advantage of the Playstation Vita’s new hardware. As of writing this preview I’m 6 levels into the game and I’m really impressed with the game so far. The default controls are a bit hard to use, they require to use the left and right side of the Vita’s back touchpad but they can be changed to use the Vita’s R and L shoulder buttons or the Vita’s gyroscope. Puddle’s visuals aren’t as great as it’s console counter port but they’re still nice looking. The physics of controlling the puddle of looks nice on the Vita’s screen and works well. Puddle also have a leader board so if you want to show off your skills you can take a crack at the world’s highest scorers. There’s also trophy support, they’re not very hard to unlock but there isn’t a platinum trophy either. There’s a free demo available on the PSN, if you like the game you can purchase the full version on the PSN for $7.99. Stay tune for our full review of the game towards the end of the week.
